Challenge:
With plans to open a new 200,000-square-foot technical center, Hyundai KIA America had a significant need to hire a wide variety of engineering professionals. An automotive leader with a reputation for innovation, Hyundai KIA America needed to communicate the fact that engineers who joined the inaugural team at this new, state-of-the-art center would have a genuine opportunity to help shape the future in an environment that fosters autonomy and creativity. To cast a broad net that would draw in a variety of professionals, Hyundai KIA America decided to sponsor an Engineering Open House.
Solution:
Beginning with our proprietary Demand Chain-an extensive discovery process that allows us to customize deliverables-NAS made a significant commitment to understanding Hyundai KIA's situation. In response to the client's needs, NAS created a striking ad that incorporated one of Hyundai KIA America's vehicles that appears to be held in the palm of the hand of a young professional. Along with the engaging headline-"Want A Hand In Our Future?"-the stage was set to launch a successful recruitment event.
Results:
Two Open Houses were held, approximately one month apart, and the combined results were excellent: a total of 530 prospects in attendance; 2,564 resume responses; and 993 phone calls.
