“Designing career sites, I get the opportunity to be creative every day. It’s great when we have a lot of freedom and can include Flash elements. I’ve worked on as many as four sites at one time. My biggest challenge is not being too influenced by everything that’s already out there. I look around for ideas, but make sure to combine them with original designs that factor in what we are trying to accomplish for the client. I take tutorials to keep current and, even though I’ve been working with Photoshop since I was 15, I’m still learning something new all the time. The trend we’ve been seeing lately is more clients getting into social networking. I’ve developed several custom Facebook pages recently, and I think we’ll continue to see more.”
